Barrow Hill...obviously, a quick fly past on the weekend, as, a new visitor, 37800 has arrived for work to return it to mainline use, it like 37884 for use by Europhoenix. Though unlike 37884, 37800 will have most bodywork repairs done by HNRC so the Spanish Continental Rail/GIF livery lingers on for now. Strangely enough two of it's former Spanish expat's, 37714 and 37884 could be found on site as well.
Also photographed were the selection of DRS 37's awaiting a return to use, or in the case with 37503 and 37521 a possible life with Colas Railfreight, and 20301 awaiting new wheelsets.
20906 in it's unusual white livery was on site for attention by HNRC and as always a selection of preserved locomotives could be found dotted about the site as well.
Also noted early in the morning, Colas 70801 and GBRF 66710 could be found at Eastleigh, shows some miles were travelled during the day.
