A final visit to Barrow Hill, and if there is one thing I've learnt some traction is bettr for photography when events aren't being held. In particular DRS 37/4's for overhaul. While all efforts were made for 37419 to be hidden (not by DRS or HNRC one might add...) with some thanks that was captured again and is probably noted outside for the last time before showing up in DRS 'Compass'! Grills coming off her now as 37419 is the first to be worked on for overhaul for DRS, 37425 to follow hot behind her. Also noted inside shed are 37259 having an E-xam completed, once done 37218 will follow. and former RT 47805 rubbed down to join the DRS fleet in the DRS 'Compass' guise.
Back to the locomotives actually on 'display', DRS kindly sent 37087 from Crewe and their 47828 recently overhauled by HNRC and 37425 awaiting overhaul were on display as were Large Logo Blue 56101, Intercity 82008 and Green 40013. The weather was ideal as well for most of the time.
