On of the more popular eventsof the year was the Eastleigh 100, which saw DRS have classes 20, 37 and 47 on site for the event, DBS sent 37411, 37422 and some 59's including DBSchenker 59206, several preserved locomotives of all classes also featured. WCRC sent a pair of class 37's, a SWT 73 and various other 73's attended, a GBRF 66 was on site as was the former 47732 now 47580 in Stratford Large Logo, as well as one of the stars of the event, 50035, or rather 50135 in Loadhaul...well...you would wouldn't you!

One bonus was that of an early bird pass so just the 20th person through the gate, patience, and also when going in doing th photographs th other way around (ie, not locos narest the gate) meant that I could get photos taken without anyone in.
