First photos of 2014 in the UK, rather different from photographing the British ex-pats class 58's in Spain in January along with a host of Spanish diesels...

Never the less, while most of the world was somewhere on the WCML for DRS's 68002 (alas, no, I'm in Carlisle next week and was anyway, patience) Didcot it was on a sunny day for a change!

First up was DBSchenker 60024, one I hadn't seen since overhaul, followed by Freightliners 66554 on engineers duties and 66540 on an intermodal, then DBS 'Royal Plum' 67005 having arrived in on the MOD doing a spot of shunting, the 'shunter' itself EWS 08888 stabled up, as were 66050 and 66077.

Just a fighting few but a week of next week should see some results come about...
