A day with Californian skies (...the irony of this will be clear shortly) in Eastleigh. DRS 37409 and 37402 both in Large Logo Blue out on a charter which would work all over London and the South East. A welcome splash of colour to the South. Over on Eastleigh Works DRS's 37602 could be found awaiting new wheelsets, as could GBRF's 'Sleeper' 73971. 73133 was acting as a shunter at the time and 50007 and 50049 can be seen briefly during shunting, to receive GBRF livery so one final look at these two in their old colours...
