Barrow Hill...obviously...
First up was 37884, one of the 37's that spent rather a long time in Spain, is seen again, in it's new Europhoenix livery - how long this guise will last given locomotives that go on hire usually get repainted, is anyone's guess. Much better located this time on shed the 37 was too...
Then 37714 could be found awaiting it's turn in the shed for OMTR/GSM-R and repaint, before it also returns to the mainline with DRS. 37521 and 37503 also DRS machines in the EWS livery for now further down the list, as is 37510.
DRS's 20301 could also be noted, on hold for wheelsets but will be the first overhauled DRS 20 when space in HNRC's shed becomes available.
Preserved 58016, still showing signs of Fertis livery could be found inside the shed, and, along with what 'was' 37372, more opened up for photos given space was being made for a concert in the roundhouse.
Two preserved AC electric locomotives 82008 and 84001 could be seen with ETL's 86702, as could a selection of HNRC's 08 shunters and preserved 24054 on site for attention.
