Healey Mills was for a long period from 2005 untill early 2007 used to store several EWS locomotives which await further use, or resale. Most received the latter. Of the fortunate, nar enough all the class 37's and 47's that were stored at the complex are still with us in use with other rail companies or in preservation. However the class 56's were not so lucky.
