DRS 47818 for a welcome change working with 47810 on a sunny day on the Yarmouth service from Norwich, a ndearly lucky day as while the DRS 'pet' 37, 37667 was also present at Norwich, unlike where 37510 was stabled a week or so prior, was not in the easiest siding, and do you think NXEA would let you walk along the platform carpark for a photo?

The sun did become the devils associate at Ipswich, coming out around the time 6M69 would be due if it was running, and making photography in Ipswich FL stabling point a touch tricky but never the less. DRS 66425 was noted on hire to FLI and FLHH 66510 also joining 66425 in being an unusual visitor to Ipswich stabling point. GBRF's 'Euro' liveried 66728 was also stabled near the station as a standby loco - now that GBRF have a host of class 66's joining their fleet. Former FL 66/5's, and former Colas 66/8's which were Advenza 66/8's and 'really' in their core former DRS 66/4's! Just to make it all that little more confusing. Freightliners 86501 being the AC 'odd one out' of the day in Ipswich.

Over all a good day out and the NTEX 90's making a welcome sight as always on passenger service
