Barrow Hill, trying to resemble Kingmoor.
Highlights include a completed DRS 'Compass' 37419, out in what was 2mins of sun all day.
DRS 'Compass' 37425, also freshly repainted and like 37419 looking very smart is seen after overhaul and awaiting final tweaking.
DRS 'Compass' 37218, on exam and seen sat on accomodation bogies while it's own set are in for overhaul.
Other highlights are BR Blue 37275 and 20107, HNRC's DRS liveried 20311, Green 20189, HNRC's 37521 and 37503 along with various other stored and preserved locomotives.
Of note was space being made, with 45105 and 40145 now around the back on an extended siding. This has been done for, and also for after the steam event. To which after the steam event one or two steam locos will leave the roundhouse and 37197/412 are due to, at some point leave for scrap.
Room is being made at the site to allow arrival of other traction. Of note would be, eventually 37402 and 37405 from Toton, the arrival of 37/4's from DRS for overhaul and anything else HNRC or preservation wise, that'll need a home. A note that timescale for any of the above is not known but likely to be this month at least.
