Thankfully, apart from a 2min monsoon, the rain held off, a dull, however never the less enjoyable visit to Freightliner's Basford Hall Yard, with thanks to Freightliner for the visit and the FMi clan for providing some of the entertainment.

A busy day in the yard, of note was former DRS blue 66414 in the yard amoung a sea of PowerHaul class 70's! Several of the newer examples of the class on site.

Colas Rail 66850 on a Pendo coach move, DRS 37609, freshly repainted into DRS 'Compass' livery, with 37682 on 6K73 and GBRF's 66735 former DRS 66403 on an intermodal.

With Freightliner the usual healthy mix of locomotives of class 66, 70, 86 and 90, of note 86501 now has frshly repainted yellow ends, smartened up nicely; were all captured.
