Back on more familiar ground again and certainly a long way from anything Union Pacific.

Crewe Heritage Center had a DRS event on and while I was in the area stopped by, probably the best locomotive sent was DRS 37402, and DRS also sent 20304, 47832 and 47501 along with it. Preserved Intercity 87035 and BR Blue shunter 08830 are also included. A shame wagons at the HC were not shoved out of the way instead of visiting locomotives, never the less. Many thanks to Mr 'apple' for the photos of 37402 and 47832 from the trackside.

Also photographed, was Freightliners 86612 and; before moving to Toton for their overhauls and new life with Colas Railfreight, are 60056, 60038, 60046, 60047, 60095, 60029 and 60002. (60028/055/082/076 also on site but didn't have time to photograph these) Unfortunately they were not well parked, but the best of efforts was made to photograph them! 60095 and 60002 from a Virgin Train even...
