A summer away. Certainly a lot of variety seen. With DRS 37's in heritage liveries in abundance. From Intercity 37419 to Large Logo Blue 37407 and 37402 as well as standard 37423. Colas 37254 also made an appearance. Freightliner wise both 90044 and 90014 in the new Freightliner GW orange scheme were observed as well. 90048 becomes the last class 90 in Freightliner Grey.

Several class 88's are seen working intermodals and a TPE 68 makes an appearance as well.

Of note during the brief visits to Crewe both travelling to and from Carlisle, it was worth photographing the 86's which were on borrowed time, as also on site were several former GA 90's which Freightliner have taken on. So the class 86's will be heading into store one by one.

Various other locomotives were also photographed.
